Thermal Transfer Label printing is a method of applying material to paper by heating a coating of ribbon that is essentially bonded to the paper or material on which the printing is performed. Direct Thermal printing does not require the use of a ribbon. Thermal Transfer is usually required for asset labels, identification labels, and high-quality barcodes.
